Reg Head (Owner)
Reg Head served a five year apprenticeship with Massey Ferguson and gained his City & Guilds at both Credit & Teaching levels. He established Compact Tractors & Machinery in 1994 to give an honest, reputable service. From small beginnings, the business outgrew its previous premises and is now settled at Holly Tree Farm in Sutton-upon-Derwent, near York.

Tom - Reg now works with Tom, a fully apprentice trained specialist in 2 & 4 stroke horticultural equipment. Part of his training was completed at the Huskvana factory. Trained to Masters level in Barrus garden & leisure equipment, including MTD Lawnflite, Cub Cadet, Yard Man, Lawnflite Pro and Lawnflite Leisure. Also trained in Briggs & Stratton engines, Tecumseh engines and Peerless transmissions.
